Terms of use for all content accessed or downloaded from this Global Digital Asset Library

The assets on this site are freely available for use by South African Tourism, provincial and regional tourism authorities, DIRCO, governmental agencies, trade partners, advertising agencies and contractors (Collectively “SAT AGENCIES”) – solely for the purpose of promoting South Africa as a tourist and business destination. All assets have been cleared globally and locally and may be used for the sole purpose of promoting tourism in and to South Africa. NB: Completed productions such as TV commercials and audio-visual productions may be downloaded but must be used in their entirety. Taking extracts from these and use thereof is strictly prohibited.

These assets have been developed and provided for the use of promotion of tourism to and in South Africa. South African Tourism have ensured the rights for these images in perpetuity and as such there are no usage rights or limitations for these assets if they are being used in the promotion of South Africa. All assets included in this library fall under these usage rights.

For any other use, including Commercial Uses (defined as any use by parties other than SAT AGENCIES), fees are likely to apply, and the required authorisation for such use may be declined.

Should the usage of these assets have a requirement to be used for commercial purposes (outside of the promotion of South Africa as a preferred travel destination) including commercial usage (defined as use by parties outside of those defined in paragraph 1, therefore excluding SAT AGENCIES) fees may apply, and the required authorisation for such use may be declined.
